Who are we
When I started the BSPM journey six years ago, my focus was on helping clients deliver sustainability and energy projects through SEAI grant supports, technical expertise and specialist energy solutions.
Over the years, I have worked with commercial businesses, hospitality operators and project teams to identify opportunities, secure funding, and deliver practical improvements across a wide range of energy and sustainability projects.
Today, my role has evolved.
While project delivery remains an important part of what BSPM offers, I increasingly find myself helping businesses answer a more fundamental question:
Which projects are worth delivering in the first place?
The market has changed.
Businesses remain committed to reducing energy costs, lowering carbon emissions and improving sustainability performance. However, they are also asking tougher questions around risk management, available capital investment, operational disruption and long-term resilience.
My role is to help clients navigate those decisions with confidence.
Having been involved in project design, grant applications, contractor management, commissioning and performance reviews, I understand both the strategic opportunities and the practical realities of implementing improvements within live commercial buildings.
Some of the most valuable lessons I have learned have not come solely from technical training. They have come from listening to clients, understanding different perspectives, and recognising where experience can add the greatest value.
One thing I have learned throughout this journey is that sustainability is not always about doing more.
Sometimes it is about making better decisions.
